Your FAQs say that japanese movements may have chronographs that are purely for show. Is this the case for this watch or are they fully functional?

Yes, on this watch only the second hand dial is functional.
We carry two types of mechanism watches, the Swiss and the Japanese mechanism models. The Swiss models are just as functional as the original brand name produced watches are. So please rest assured that all the mechanisms will function correctly.
However, in most cases with the Japanese mechanism models the chronograph functionality is for show only. That being said we have gone to great lengths to make sure that all of our products are as near to perfect as possible. Be they Swiss models or Japanese models all of our items are guaranteed to feature all the correct markings and engravings, in all the right places.
Brand logos, serial numbers and even the specific weight and hand-feel of each piece has been replicated.
