And if not, do you make mention in the description of which watches are and which watches are not?

Our watch have basic water resistance, it can bear daily life water like water drop and rainfall. If pay more 20 USD, then you can wear it swimming and won't have any damage.

Does the tachymetre works?

Unfortunately for Japanese quality watches, the tachometer feature is just for show. If you wish to have fully functional chronographs we recommend you purchase a Swiss quality watch.
