No, the chronographs on this model are not functional. The chronographs only work on our Swiss model watches, this is a Japanese model and as such the chronographs are for show only.

What colour is the dial black or blue?

The color of the dial is black. In some pictures it looks blue because of the tinted glass used for the dial. This is the same type of glass used by the original model.

You said to a person asking you,mthat the watch will have a matte finish... although in your pictures and the pictures of a reviewer, the watch is very chrome, just like the original..so is it chrome or matte?

The watch comes with a polished finished both on the case and bracelet. It will have the chrome look!
